How to make sure that you get the most reduction in your business and household utility use from current changes in technology, regulation and markets

Come along for this free workshop run by local energy support consultancy Smarter Meters, in collaboration with Worthing & Adur Chamber of Commerce.

The workshop will cherry pick some of the easiest and smartest ways to create energy savings and explore these opportunities with some light-hearted audience participation including, but not limited to:

• Surveys and certificates - Information you may already have and not be using. A live trawl of some public domain information to spot the energy problems
  
• Demystifying energy costs - Fixed and variable elements to typical bills including an energy trading simulation
  
• Graph goes up, graph goes down - How to get smarter at using the energy data which will very soon be available to all of us via smart meters
  
• Debunking some terminology and looking at the importance of profiles

It is our intention that each delegate should take away at least one readily achievable, and ideally cost-free, energy action point.  We are planning to link domestic and business energy behaviours where employees can be part of the solution, not the problem.

For delegates, no prior energy knowledge is required or expected, just curiosity and a desire to reduce their energy waste.
