Who is it for? Anyone that wants to use PowerPoint effectively when presenting your business or message, be that a 10 minute or 30 minute speaking gig.

Course details: This is a practical workshop aimed at getting you on your feet presenting your business using a short slide deck. THIS IS NOT A PowerPoint Training session, but it is intended to help you understand and experience the power of using PowerPoint Correctly when presenting your business. The workshop will provide you with;

• Practical and experiential – you will be on your feet presenting with a few slides (you will need to prep them beforehand!)
• Short trainer inputs on the practicalities of using PowerPoint
• Video inputs demonstrating the power of images over text
• Practical inputs on how to prepare yourself as much as any materials/slides
• A simple yet powerful structure to apply to your presentations and talks
• The importance of understanding the purpose of your pitch or presentation and to have clarity about what you want it to achieve
• To use the full range of your voice: Tone, inflection, emphasis, rate, pitch and emotion
• Some tips and techniques to control and handle nerves, interpreting body language, and the importance of rehearsal

What will I get out of it? A series of thought-provoking tips and hints to help you inject colour, drama and impact in all your introductions and pitches. It will also give you increased confidence to work with your audience by banishing some common pitfalls and an opportunity to gain some feedback.
