Coronavirus update: Following concerns about the Coronavirus, Worthing and Adur Chamber have had to take the decision to move all face to face events online. Networking Breakfasts & Lunches
Held on the third Friday of every month either as a Breakfast or Lunch. This is our most formal event with a keynote speaker such as local MP’s, Council leaders and officers, County Councillors, local Business Leaders.

Chamber Chat
Held on the first Wednesday of the month and is in the evening. Includes inspirational visits,  a free mini workshop  on a variety of topics such as social media, PR, Sales and Marketing, followed by Networking.

Chamber Hub
A completely informal event totally dedicated to Networking.  Held in Shoreham this is an opportunity to meet  members and non members in a relaxed and welcoming environment. If you are new to Networking this is a great place to start!

Social Events
We also like to have fun!! During the year we host Charity Quiz nights always  competitive between members, Summer Social BBQ, never weather dependent!! And the Christmas Social, well attended with fabulous food, the perfect way to finish the year.

    Executive Board Vacancy for 2021

    There are currently vacancies to join the Chamber's Executive Committee. The role of the Executive Committee is to guide and support the strategic direction of the Chamber. The Executive Committee is a voluntary role, meeting once a month and are voted in for a three year term. Each Executive Committee member leads or is part of a working group which also consists of Chamber Ambassadors and volunteers.

        Peer Mentoring taster session

        What is Peer Mentoring? The Peer Mentoring Groups consist of 8-12 business owners from different business areas who are willing to learn from and support each other by sharing their expertise and varied skill sets in a confidential environment. All the programmes have at their core the concept of Action Learning – this is ‘learning by doing’, focusing on group members’ real business challenges and identifying practical actions they can take to solve them. An experienced facilitator guides the group and holds members accountable.

        How will Peer Mentoring help me?
        This programme is for both start up and established businesses that are looking to grow and develop. The content of each meeting is determined exclusively by members themselves including the provision of 6 bespoke workshops as identified and requested by the group. Each member has two scheduled time-slots for introducing their business to the group and reviewing their progress as well as monthly opportunities to present a business challenge for Action Learning sessions. Groups meet for 3 hours once a month over the course of a year.

        Another Chamber initiative to support you and your business! Since 2012, Worthing and Adur Chamber of Commerce has been offering highly successful peer-to-peer mentoring group programmes to over 60 members and is planning it’s next group.

            We are excited to announce that the 2021 Better Business Show is growing and moving to a new venue!  The Show will be held in the Main Hall at Worthing Leisure Centre. This will give more space for stands with a few extra surprises planned along the way!

              Cancellation Policy: 
              Cancellations must be made by Thursday 12th August. After this point refunds will not be made for any stand bookings and any outstanding invoices must be paid in full.

              COVID-19 policy: *We are planning for the 2021 Better Business Show to take place on Thursday 23rd September 2021. However, The Chamber Team are constantly reviewing the ever changing situation. Should the event be cancelled due to COVID-19 a full refund will be issued.*
