Summer outing - Boat trip around Shoreham Port

Join us for a unique behind-the-scenes boat tour of Shoreham Port with live commentary. The boat tours are a great way to catch all of the action from the water. Learn about the Port's rice history and how it operates today as a thriving commercial port handling a diverse range of cargoes. Complimentary ice creams and hot drinks will be available to all.

Please be aware of the following timings as late arrivals will not have access to the boat.

3:50pm - Group departs to walk to the boat 

4:00pm - Boat tour starts - the tour lasts approximately 45 minutes

Parking: Please note parking will be very limited on the day. where possible we encourage visitors to travel to the port via public transport or to car share. The image shows an area behind Nautilus House where there will be very limited parking. Southwick station is located just 0.2 miles away (5 minute walk) and the 700 bus stops just outside Nautilus House.

On arrival: please report to the Visitor Centre which is accessible from the Nautilus House car park (the area on the image behind the Shoreham Port building).  The boat does have wheel chair access. The boat has a small roof but is mostly open so we advise visitors to prepare for the weather. 

The boat will leave promptly on the hour so please arrive at least 30 minutes before your allocated tour time. We are unable to delay any boat tours due to late arrivals.
