MOMENTUM Business Support Ltd Supported Worthing Food Foundation with Unique Fundraising Effort

During the last six months of 2025, MOMENTUM Business Support Ltd proudly partnered with the Worthing Food Foundation (Les Alden Foundation), a volunteer-led organisation dedicated to providing essential food and household items to individuals and families in need across Worthing.

The Foundation played a vital role in supporting those experiencing food poverty, offering dignity, kindness, and practical assistance when it mattered most. What many did not realise was that approximately 90% of the food distributed by the charity had to be purchased, making every donation critical to its mission.

In addition to donating business services free of charge, MOMENTUM wanted to take its support a step further. To raise awareness and funds, the team committed to a 24-hour fast — no food, no snacks, and no caffeine, relying solely on water and willpower. This initiative aimed to provide a small glimpse into the daily struggles faced by those living with food insecurity.

MOMENTUM invited clients, friends, and supporters to get involved in three impactful ways:

• Sponsor the fast — every contribution helped feed someone in need.
• Share the campaign to spread awareness.
• Join the challenge by fasting for a day in solidarity.

All funds raised went directly to the Worthing Food Foundation, enabling them to continue their incredible work supporting local families.

Together, MOMENTUM and its community worked to ensure that no one in Worthing went hungry.
