Welcome to April's Network Update. This month: say 'yes' to tap water; upcoming events; a new look for the Biosphere and welcome to our new team member Ash.

Say 'yes' to tap water

We recently completed a business research project amongst businesses for Brighton & Hove City Council and Southern Water on access to tap water in cafes and restaurants. The majority of those surveyed said they provide tap water on demand, even for non-customers so the message is when you’re out and about don’t be afraid to ask to refill a bottle rather than buy a bottle of mineral water which has a much higher impact on the environment.

Remember to sign up and join us to learn about the infrastructure upgrades planned for Burgess Hill including a cycle route to Haywards Heath, and to hear from Edwards Vacuum on how they are encouraging employees out of their cars and reducing business mileage. We will also have a couple of exhibition stands with electric cars and electric bikes.
