Worthing and Adur Chamber is a friendly and dynamic membership organisation that puts your business needs first. Our members are a diverse mix of large and small companies, all with the same aim of succeeding in business.
Becoming a Member means that there will always be a helping hand on offer. You can benefit from attending our events, look at training opportunities for both you and your team, gain business support and advice, or collaborate with us to promote your business – whatever you need, we will support you.
Worthing and Adur Chamber of Commerce has been in existence since 1920, find out about the history of the Chamber here. Since then, the governance and running of the Chamber has been overseen by a team of volunteers. More recently, the volunteer Executive Committee has been supported by a small, but enthusiastic, team of employees.

The Chamber Ambassadors are a group of volunteers, they are all long standing members of the Chamber who have gone over and above to support fellow members, promote the values of the Chamber and get involved in the working groups. They are invited to become an Ambassador in recognition of their dedication to the Chamber.

In 2013, The Worthing & Adur Chamber Team embarked on a project to research the history of the Chamber, kindly funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund. This project is a legacy of Roy Bishop, who was a past Chamber president and was actively involved in the Chamber for 63 years, Roy had been collecting archive materials for a number of a years, this information was the basis of the project.
