Join us for a hands on cyber security workshop  including a unique table top exercise which is designed to explore the decisions that people make, in order to protect their businesses from modern day threats.

Who will be your trainer: Chris White, Police Cyber Security Advisor from the South East Organised Crime unit

What you will do:

The Cyber Security workshop covers:

• CEO fraud
• Personal and corporate security
• Identity theft with regards to your online footprint and digital dirt
• Latest trends, threats and vulnerabilities
• Cyber frauds and scams
• Phishing, smishing and Vishing
• Advice on cyber security issues and raising awareness with staff
• latest password management
• social engineering tactics
• reducing the insider threat
• public wifi demo

Followed by a unique table top exercise:

This exercise is designed to explore the decisions that people make, in order to protect their businesses from modern day threats, such as hacking and malware attacks, in addition to physical security and crime prevention. 

You will  be informed that a a business has been added to your company's portfolio and that there is no current physical or cyber security. You will be given a yearly budget and multiple purchase options in order to make the company more secure. During the exercise you will be faced with different scenarios and outcomes based on your decisions, which will have a direct impact on their turnover. These scenarios are based upon real life situations and current threats. At the conclusion of the game, participants are debriefed and taken through 'the perfect game'. 

Who will be your trainer: Chris White, Police Cyber Security Advisor from the South East Organised Crime unit. Chris will promote cyber awareness in line with the National Cyber Security Strategy 2016-2021.
