Wine Tasting with Albourne Vineyard at Ropetackle 

Fancy trying some locally made, award winning wines? We are hosting a brand new wine tasting event in collaboration with Ropetackle and Albourne Vineyard.

Albourne Estate is a family owned, award winning, Sussex vineyard and winery. They craft small quantities of still and sparkling English wine, using only their own sustainably grown grapes. Experts from Albourne Estate will be joining us, bringing 3 wines plus a mystery wine for you to try. There will also be some light bites. 

The event is for Chamber members and guests as well as Ropetackle's Business Friends, a great opportunity for you to widen your network whilst tasting a selection of delicious wines.  We are delighted to be jointly hosting the event with Ropetackle Arts Centre which has become established as one of the most vibrant community owned and run venues in the region

Albourne Wine Estate was established in 2010 by husband and wife team and has rapidly established itself as an innovative and quality-led English wine producer at the forefront of this rapidly growing industry. 

Over the past 11 years they have established the vineyard, a winery and a stunning new Tasting Room.  From winning ‘UK Wine of the Year’ in 2015 with a Bacchus wine from the second ever harvest, the range, quality and reputation of Albourne Estate wines has grown to include traditional and charmat method sparkling wines, white and red still wines and one of the first English Vermouths.
