Shaping the Future of Sussex - Insights from the Interim Chief Executive
As Sussex moves towards establishing its first Mayoral Combined County Authority, this is a pivotal moment for local leadership, businesses and communities.
We are delighted to host Mark Rogers, the Interim Chief Executive of Sussex & Brighton Combined County Authority, who is leading this transition, for a session focused on what devolution could unlock for the regional economy.
Mark will provide a clear, accessible overview of the Devolution Priority Programme; including potential new powers, future funding streams and opportunities for business engagement. With experience in leading the Hull and East Yorkshire Devolution Programme he will highlight how the new authority could shape investment, skills, infrastructure, and long-term place-based growth across Sussex.
Attendees will gain early insight into how decisions affecting transport, planning, housing and workforce development may soon be taken closer to home and how the business community can help influence the agenda from the outset.
