Art behind every door...

Summer is well and truly here and so too is Worthing Artists Open Houses. The next two weekends 24/25th June and 1st/2nd July WAOH continues across Worthing offering up a fantastically diverse range of work from Worthing's makers, designers, jewellers, painters, sculptors and more!

At Colonnade House - Creative Hub we are very excited to be a part of this wonderful event as a venue for Worthing Churches Homeless Project's group show Safe Spaces. WCHP have asked people who have experienced homelessness and people who have not to tell them what their ‘safe space’ is. They then gave these descriptions to local artists to create a visual representation.

As well as being open during the Worthing Artists Open House weekends both gallery spaces at Colonnade House are open to the public during the week, Tuesday - Saturday 10am to 5pm.

UPCOMING EXHIBITIONS

SARADARE

Quick - Quick - Slow

SARA DARE

July 4th – 16th

We are delighted to present artist and Colonnade House tenant Sara Dare’s newest exhibition Quick – Quick – Slow.

Sara is a painter and installation artist predominantly working on large-scale canvases.

Her approach seeks to incorporate an awareness of the environment surrounding the works and the conversations between them.

Concepts within her practice explore the relationship between process, environment, scale and ambiguity of form through an abstract and instinctive language. Playful and often psychologically charged shapes and objects examine themes of repulsion, lure, conflict and presence.

Sara would also like to invite you to her Private View on Thursday 6th July 6 - 8 pm.

Find out more about Sara here and be sure to visit the exhibition, opening July 4th.
