Economic Development has recently sent out a business questionnaire to all business addresses in Adur. This questionnaire is an opportunity for your company to inform the Council of the key issues currently affecting your business. 

Over the last few years the Council has consulted Worthing businesses to identify their issues, and we now would like to do the same work in Adur. The information provided will help build a picture of business issues across the area and will be incorporated into a joint action plan for Adur and Worthing.

This is an opportunity to have your say and we would be grateful if you could please take the time to complete the questionnaire and return it in the pre-paid envelope provided, by the 22nd April 2011.  The questionnaire is also available to download on our website at www.adur.gov.uk/business, or paper copies are available from Adur Civic Centre reception in Ham Road, Shoreham.

The Worthing Town Centre Initiative will be taking over the Civic Centre Car Park from 1^st April 2011.  From this date the charge for parking on a Saturday will drop from £1.60 per hour to 50p per hour (for a maximum stay of 4 hours). This Car Park will continue to offer free parking to the public after 4pm weekdays and on Sundays and Bank Holidays. 

Let your customers know that they can park for 4 hours for just £2 just a few minutes' walk away from the pedestrian precinct.  There are 180 spaces in this Car Park and we are hoping that by offering more parking for less money that shoppers will take the opportunity to visit more businesses and spend more time in town.

The Worthing Town Centre Initiative will be starting a publicity campaign to let shoppers know the good news!!!
